Lite Long Loop Shell Shawl

This Lite Long Loop Shawl is the perfect accessory every event! Work it up in lace weight yarn and it’s perfect for a summer party, or use a worsted weight wool for fall evenings when it’s starting to get chilly. This is an Asymmetric Triangle Shawl, and will be straight on one end and taper to a point. I have also included clear instructions on how to make it in multiple sizes, so you can make it as large or small as you want!

You can find the pattern on both Ravelry and Etsy!

Yarn:

For this shawl I used Ella Rae Cozy Soft held with Ella Rae Silky Kid, held together. The finished item as I have made it will measure 51 x 22 inches, but, as stated, any yarn/hook size/length can be made, and instructions clarify how to do so.

Inspiration:

This shawl was the next iteration of the “long loop shell” items. There’s the tote, the sunhat, the toddler clothes, and now the shawl! Keep your eyes open for the lace blouse/coverup!!

Construction:

This shawl is worked from the straight edge up, and the asymmetry is made by not going all the way across for every row! As always, my picture instructions are clear and concise, but you will need a basic understanding of the usual crochet stitches: Single Crochet, Double Crochet, Half-Double Crochet, Treble Crochet, Slip Stitches, and Chains. I also fully explain – with pictures! – how to do the “Lite Long Loop” stitch, so it should be easily accessibly for many levels of difficulty.

You can find the pattern on both Ravelry and Etsy!

As always you are welcome to reach out if you have any questions about the pattern.  Once the pattern is purchased, you may sell your finished items, as long as you give credit to me as the designer. I can be found on Instagram @springintofalldesigns, and Ravelry as SpringintoFall. Also check out my blog at SpringintoFall.design.blog. I’d love to hear from you!
