Tr5tog-special

This is a special stitch that I’m using for the bottom of a chevron. It’s basically a regular tr5tog stitch, but you’re skipping a stitch between every “leg” of each tr. Check it out below to see what I mean!

Starting point will be any stitch of treble height. This doesn’t necessarily have to be a treble!

YOx2, Insert hook into st, YO, pull thru, YO, pull thru 2, YO, pull thru 2 (2 loops on hook).

Skip a stitch, YOx2, Insert hook into st, YO, pull thru, YO, pull thru 2, YO, pull thru 2 (3 loops on hook).

Skip a stitch, YOx2, Insert hook into st, YO, pull thru, YO, pull thru 2, YO, pull thru 2 (4 loops on hook)

Skip a stitch, YOx2, Insert hook into st, YO, pull thru, YO, pull thru 2, YO, pull thru 2 (5 loops on hook).

Skip a stitch, YOx2, Insert hook into st, YO, pull thru, YO, pull thru 2, YO, pull thru 2 (6 loops on hook).

YO, pull thru all loops on hook.

And you’re done! You can use this stitch for the bottom of a chevron, like I am, or even if you want a lacy center/close to a circular work.
